2015 MP seminar, President Russell M. Nelson shared with the mission presidents and wives how they would be able to measure their success. He stated: “Dear presidents and sisters, the true measure of your success will not be evident in these brief years that you serve in the mission field. It will not be fully evident even in the following decade. The true measure of your service will be evident when the children and grandchildren of your missionaries are endowed and sealed in the temple.”
